Kelly Ripa’s super-fit body doesn’t look a day older than when she was in her 20s and played Hayley Vaughan in All My Children’s soap opera. Some might even say she looks fitter now – three decades later, at 51 years old and with three children!

 
 
 

She says it’s a combination of healthy eating, a lot of gym time, and a lifestyle change that has impacted her well-being.

 

The actress and talk show host follows the alkaline diet (that is, a diet low in acid), saying in an episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, “It has changed my life… I swear I think it’s responsible for me not being in pain.”

 

She also explained, “I believe inflammation is one of the great killers of people, in different ways. Whether it’s digestive problems, or heart health, or brain inflammation. Inflammation really affects your body in totality, so I try to maintain a really alkaline diet.
