In this Arctic compound shown above, 450 kilometers east of Anchorage, Alaska, the Pentagon has erected a powerful transmitter designed to beam more than a gigawatt of energy into the upper reaches of the atmosphere.
Known as Project HAARP (High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program), the experiment involves the world’s largest “ionospheric heater,” a device designed to zap the skies hundreds of kilometers above the Earth, known as the ionosphere with high-frequency radio waves.

HAARP – Gakon, Alaska, United States
High-Frequency radio waves ranging from 1mHz up to 30mHz with a transmitting power output of 3.6 megawatts are directed towards the ionosphere some 50km above the earth’s surface.
When 3.6 megawatt power comes into contact with the ‘D Field’ of the Ionoshpere, microwave frequencies are created ranging from 2.5 gHz and higher, creating an increase in transmitting power output or ‘Effective Radiated Power or ERP’ of 5.8 Gigawatts!
This is enough radiating power to light up a whole city or to geoengneer bolts of lightening to the earth’s surface, change the direction of the jet stream, create a huricanne, earthquake or even a tsunamis.
HAARP transmissions may also be used for the detection and monitoring of electromagnetic or “plasma” phenomena, precursors of seismic activity and tectonic movement.
Researchers believe HAARP transmissions are actually being used to activate or trigger exactly the same electromagnetic conditions that can cause tectonic movement.
As anti-HAARP activists claim, HAARP is the most dangerous project that the US government has undertaken so far. Hidden by the innocent name of HAARP is the ultimate death ray.
When HAARP’s shot up, it can move jetstreams and clouds.
When aimed at the ground it can cause fires, earthquakes,tornadoes, hurricanes and tsunamis.
According to Jerry Smith, an anti-HAARP activist says that the US military’s desire is to harness the weather and use it as a weapon.
Smith in his book HAARP – The Ultimate Weapon of the Conspiracy, warns many atmospheric scientists working on the secretive military project might be unaware of HAARP’s grave potential to wreak havoc on the Earth.
He writes:
“If HAARP is a TMT [Tesla Magnifying Transmitter], and these researchers correctly understand Tesla’s work, we could be in a lot of trouble. It is quite possible that the scientists working on HAARP do not know what they are playing with.
“Beyond that their ignorance might be compounded if HAARP is indeed a secretive black-ops military project. The military has devised a way of keeping secrets called ‘compartmentalization’ where each unit knows only what it needs to know… Only the control group knows what’s going on…”
“If there is a control group familiar with TMTs directing the actions of scientists unschooled in Tesla technology, those lower level operatives could be directed to wreak havoc with created weather or manufactured earthquakes…”
The key technology behind HAARP is the brainchild of scientist Bernard Eastlund.
Judging from his APTI patent, Tesla was a major inspiration for Eastlund’s ionospheric heater. A New York Times story, dated December 8, 1915, describes one of Tesla’s ideas which are remarkably similar to Eastlund’s.
In 1966, Professor Gordon J.F. MacDonald was associate director of the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at the University of California, Los Angeles, a member of the US President’s Science Advisory Committee, and later a member of the US President’s Council on Environmental Quality.
He published papers on the use of environmental-control technologies for military purposes.
MacDonald made a revealing comment:
“The key to geophysical warfare is the identification of environmental instabilities to which the addition of a small amount of energy would release vastly greater amounts of energy.”
World-renowned scientist MacDonald developed ideas for using the environment as a weapon system and he contributed to what was, at the time, only in the wildest dream of a futurist.
When he wrote his chapter, “How to Wreck the Environment,” for the book, “Unless Peace Comes”, he was not kidding around. In it he describes the use of –
– weather manipulation – climate modification – polar ice cap melting or destabilization – ozone depletion techniques – earthquake engineering – ocean wave control – brain wave manipulation using the planet’s energy fields
He speculated these types of weapons would be developed and, when used, would be virtually undetectable by their victims.
Is HAARP one such weapon?
In her book Planet Earth: The Latest Weapon of War, renowned scientist and nuclear activist Dr. Rosalie Bertell says such electromagnetic weapons:
“have the ability to transmit explosive and other effects such as earthquake induction across intercontinental distances to any selected target site on the globe with force levels equivalent to major nuclear explosions.”
High latitude #lightning isn’t uncommon in the summer months, usually as convection develops over land and moves over the Arctic Ocean. In this case, it looks like several storms developed over the ice.
Just some lighting this morning at, checks notes, 75°N. This area is completely ice covered.
Vaisala, a company that operates a Global Lightning Detection Network, has picked up about 1,613 lightning events north of Alaska and in far Northwest Canada since 5 a.m. Monday, according to Chris Vagasky, the firm’s lightning solutions manager. About 1,210 of those were cloud to groundstrokes or, in many instances, cloud to ice.
Vagasky wrote in an email that high-latitude lightning by itself isn’t that rare, and that lightning storms routinely move off Alaska over the Arctic Ocean. But he said it was unusual for there to be such an unstable air mass over the Arctic Ocean generating its own lightning. “That’s what made this case more unique,” he wrote.

The earthquake in Turkey on February of 2023 may have been a punitive HAARP operation by NATO or the US against Turkey.
The pictures below shows lightning strikes, which are not normal in earthquakes, but always happen in HAARP operations.
Dr. Rosalie Bertell in her book explains that pulsed, extremely low frequency (ELF) waves can be used to convey mechanical effects and vibrations at great distances through the Earth.
Such manipulation of the Earth, she states, “has the capability to cause disturbance of volcanoes and tectonic plates, which in turn, have an effect on the weather,” creating storms and torrential rains over an area.

1975: Stanford professor Robert Helliwell reports that very low frequency (VLF) from power lines is altering the ionosphere.
1975: U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson forces Navy to release research showing that extremely low frequency (ELF) transmissions can alter human blood chemistry.
1975: Pell Senate Subcommittee urges that weather and climate modification work be overseen by civilian agency answerable to U.S. Congress. Didn’t happen.
1975: Soviets begin pulsing “Woodpecker” extremely low frequency (ELF) waves, at key brainwave rhythms. Eugene, Oregon, one of locations where people were particularly affected.
1976: Drs. Susan Bawin & W. Ross Adey show nerve cells affected by ELF fields.
1979: Launch of NASA’s third High-Energy Astrophysical Observatory causes large scale, artificially induced depletion in the ionosphere. Plasma hole caused by ―rapid chemical processes between rocket exhaust and ozone layer‖. ―Ionosphere was significantly depleted over a horizontal distance of 300 km for some hours‖.
1985: Bernard J. Eastlund applies for patent ―Method and Apparatus for Altering a Region in the Earth‘s Atmosphere, Ionosphere and/or Magnetosphere‖, (First of three Eastlund patents assigned to ARCO Power Technologies Inc.)
1986: U.S. Navy Project Henhouse duplicates Delgado (Madrid) experiment very low level, very low frequency pulsed magnetic fields harm chick embryos.
1980‘s: In the later part of the decade the U.S. begins network of Ground Wave Emergency Network (GWEN) towers, each to generate Very Low Frequency (VLF) waves for defense purposes .
1987-92: Other Arco Power Technologies Incorporated (APTI) scientists build on Eastlund patents for development of new weapon capabilities.
1994: Military contractor E-Systems buys APTI, holder of Eastlund patents and contract to build biggest ionospheric heater in world High-frequency Active Auroral Research Project (HAARP).
1994: Congress freezes funding on HAARP until planners increase emphasis on earth penetrating tomography uses, for nuclear counter proliferation efforts.
1995: Raytheon buys E-Systems and old APTI patents. The technology is now hidden among thousands of patents within one of the largest defense contractor portfolios.
1995: Congress budgets $10 million for 1996 under ―nuclear counter proliferation‖ efforts for HAARP project.
1995: HAARP planners to test patent number 5,041,834 in September.
1994-6: Testing of first stage HAARP equipment continues, although funding was frozen.
1996: HAARP planners to test the earth penetrating tomography applications by modulating the electroject at ELF frequencies.
